Hearty felicitations are still pouring in on the Facebook Timeline of Arinola Joda, senior lecturer, at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Biopharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lagos, Idiaraba Campus, Idiaraba, Lagos, as her new title of Associate Professor was announced on her Facebook handle recently.

Among the earlier well-wishers of Joda were the immediate past president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Pharm. Ahmed I. Yakasai;  Pharm. Greater height in Jesus name”, Adegoke Adesina, remarked; “My Prof. congrats”, Omolola Folake Nwokoma, stated; “A big congratulations to you, 👏👏😁😁🎉🎊🙌🙌,” Claudine Okonkwo, added.

Joda holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Lagos. Her ORCID ID is 0000-0002-6991-763X.

She is a Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP). She obtained her B.Pharm. (Upper Class) and MPharm. (with distinction) degree also from the University of Lagos in the years 1994 and 2000 respectively.

Joda is skilled in Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, Operational Research and Public Health. She is a prolific researcher and author.

She is currently the editor in chief/assistant general secretary of the African Pharmaceutical Forum (APF), the youngest regional forum of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). She had served the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria at the National level successfully in three separate elective positions, National Publicity Secretary from 2015 to 2018, Assistant National Secretary from 2012 to 2015 and the National Editor-in-Chief from 2005 to 2008.
