-Appoints Sir Ezeiru as New MD
Oculus PharmaCare Limited, a respected healthcare company recently rolled out the drums to celebrate Sir Clifford Nzimako, who retired as the managing director/ chief executive officer of the company. Sir Nzimako, became the MD/CEO of Oculus from the inception of the company in year 2000 and helped grew it to an enviable position in the pharmaceutical industry.
The colourful retirement party held at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, and chaired by Pharm. (Alhaji) Yaro Budah, former president of PSN, was graced by friends and family of Sir Nzimako, as well as business partners/associates of the company.
The memorable occasion was also used to introduce the new MD/CEO, Pharm. (Sir) Valentine Ezeiru, who until now was an executive director of the company.
Speaking at the event, Sir Nzimako thanked all the dignitaries for coming out to honour him and the company, noting that he never knew he would have a retirement party of such magnitude, while bowing out of service to the company.
He appreciated the board of directors of the company, members of staff and his wife for all the support given to him which helped to grow the company to its present level.
He urged the company’s stakeholders to support his successor, Sir Ezeiru to take the company to the next level, adding that his hope for the future is that Oculus should become a quoted company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
Also speaking at the occasion, the new MD/CEO of Oculus, Pharm. (Sir) Ezeiru said the company has overtime become a trusted and respected healthcare company with patient care, well-being and safety at the heart of all its business transactions, adding that the company strive every day to provide quality healthcare products and first-class services to its partners, while helping millions of people to be well and stay well.
He reiterated that the company will continue to be passionate about doing what is right for customers, shareholders and communities.
