    Details below :
Arcoxia contains etoricoxib, which is an NSAID, specifically a cyclo-oxygen￾ase-2 inhibitor. Because of recent reports regarding cardiovascular safety of
this class of compounds, etoricoxib should be used with caution in patients
with a history of cardiac failure. It should be used in preference to standard
NSAIDs in patients who are at a particularly high risk of developing gastro￾duodenal ulceration, perforation or bleeding, such as in patients with a history
of peptic ulceration. Worsening of asthma may be related to the use of
    NSAIDs.
